Order Crinella Wines

2005 Sauvignon Blanc
2005 Glissando


Winter Dessert
This recipe for the classic Italian desert is easy to do.

2 or 3 cups Sauvignon Blanc
3/4 cup sugar
Zest of an orange ( you could also use lemon)
1 cup orange juice
Cointreau (optional)
Mixture of fresh or dried fruit:
    Fresh oranges, graepfruit, pineapple, pears, what ever you can find that is ripened correctly and smells fragrant. You can also add dried fruits. If you use dried fruits let them simmer a bit on the stove for about 5 minutes with the Sauvignon Blanc mixture.
Put Sauvignon Blanc, sugar and orange zest and juice into a saucepan and reduce to about a third. Peel fresh fruit. Cut fresh fruit and dried fruit into chunks and put into into the Sauvignon Blanc mixture and let marinate several hours covered tightly in the refrigerator.You could sprinkle some Cointreau over it if you like. Remove from refrigerator about an hour before serving.
