Grilled Pizza
Grilled sour dough pizza is the best of all. Why heat up your kitchen on a hot day when you can cook it outdoors? There is a little trick to griling pizza which you can easliy master.

1 recipe sour dough pizza
tomato sauce
toppings
mozzarella cheese
  • Preceed as in Sour Dough Pizza recipe to first rising.
  • Light grill and let burn down a bit.
  • After first rising, shape the dough into two pizza crusts.
  • Oil the grid.
  • Place pizza dough on grid. It will begin to puff up a bit almost immediately.
  • Move about using tongs so that it does not burn on bottom until it is browned. This will take a few minutes
  • Remove to cool edge of grill withtwo spatulas.
  • Turn crust and brush top with olive oil. Add sauce and toppings.
  • Put back in hot section of grill and let it cook about five minutes until the bottom is browned and the cheese has melted.

Enjoy with our 2005 Sauvignon Blanc.
