Jim Pratt
Vineyard Manager
Jim Pratt and his Cornerstone Certified Vineyard Management Company joined the Crinella team in 2002. For nearly two decades,
Pratt has farmed his own vineyard property, located just down the road from Crinella's Marino Vineyard. In 1999, Pratt started Cornerstone,
which today oversees more than 175 acres of Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Gris, Viognier, Dolcetto and grape rootstock.
His first job in the wine industry was working with Rich Kunde at Sonoma
Grapevines, where he formed his farming philosophy to "respect your crew
and neighbors and remember that every vineyard you farm is a reflection of
your commitment." Pratt enjoys working with his well-seasoned crew,
many of whom have worked with him for more than 20 years.
