Harvesting at Crinella Vineyards
We harvest our vineyards at night when the grapes are cool. They are put into small containers and brought to the winery at dawn so they do not experience any deterioration
from the days heat. We harvest by hand although most wineries now use mechanical harvesters. We want to make sure that every cluster meets our standards of excellence.
This is the staging area and the men are setting up the bins and lights.

The moon is sending out some light, also.

The men start work. It will be a very long night.

Dawn comes to the vineyard and the vines are checked.

Our vineyard manager, Jim Pratt gives the okay.

The rising sun shines on last night's harvest.

And now the grapes are going to the winery.
